Susalee started painting in oils 25 years ago when she joined a group studying with Reuben Gambrell. After several years she shared ownership of the Viridian Studio and Gallery with four other artists. She owned and operated a popular gift shop, Gibson’s on Saluda, in Columbia for 34 years. She and her husband, Bill, live on Edisto’s Store Creek.
Susalee Lamb’s paintings reflect her love of Edisto and the natural beauty of this world. She was the featured tour artist for the Edisto Island Historic Preservation Society in 2021.
